York in 2003 by Bryan Carmel, Brendan Colthurst, and Vikram Gandhi, and its work can be seen on Bravo, Comedy Central, Comedy Central's Motherload, the Sundance
Channel, and on the web.
Bryan Carmel Bryan is a writer/producer/director with ten years experience in video production and television writing. He's written for U-Pick Live
(Nickelodeon), All Things Rock (MTV), Total Request Live (MTV), XYZ Minute spots (ABC Family), and produced Pop-Up Video and
Pop-Up Culture (VH1), The Greatest Things
(Bravo), Courage Countdown 25 (OLN), This Is Your Sex Life (SPIKE pilot), and Toss-Up, (ESPN pilot). Bryan has also written and performed in countless web comedy
videos as a producer at Alltrue Networks. His pranks can be seen in the Extreme Laughs video series, still a late night TV infomercial regular. At Alltrue, he also
starred in Freaktown, a hidden-camera prank show for Channel 4 in the U.K. Bryan graduated from Columbia University with a B.A. in Religion and Creative Writing. He
resides in Los Angeles, where he recently finished his M.F.A. at USC's Peter Stark Producing Program.
Brendan Colthurst Brendan is a writer/director who has been creating comedy since 1996. This year he's directed Rebecca Drysdale is a Time Traveling Lesbian for HBO and the Sad Song music video for Au Revoir Simone, produced Chelsea Peretti's All My Exes for SuperDeluxe, served as Christopher Doyle's camera operator on Ireland's entry to the 2007 Venice Biennale, and showcased his performance prank prowess as a washed-up journalist for Capitol Music at an LCD Soundsystem press-conference. You can also catch some of his work in an upcoming marketing campaign for the Evander Holyfield vs. Sultan Ibragimov heavyweight championship fight in October. His past producing and directing work can be seen on Comedy Central's Motherload in I Love the
30s (winner of three 2006 Telly Awards), All Access: Middle Ages, and Mike Birbiglia's Secret Public Journal, as well as in Jumpcuts (Comedy Central), Making Friends with Chelsea Peretti (SuperDeluxe), The Greatest
Things... (Bravo), Scott Prendergast's comedy cult hit The Delicious (Sundance Channel and festivals worldwide), Tim Robbins' Embedded Live, and at New York and Los
Angeles comedy venues like Comix, UCB Theater, Riffi, and Mo-Pitkens. Brendan was a member of the improv troupe Six Milks, and studied improv at the UCB Theater NY
under Kevin Mullaney, Michael Delaney and coach John Ross Bowie. He has a B.A. in Film Studies from Columbia University.
Vikram Gandhi Vikram Gandhi is a New York-based director/producer. His cinematography work can be seen in 2006 Academy Award nominated Street Fight, Nova ScienceNow
(PBS), POV (PBS), Tim Robbins' Embedded Live, The Greatest Things...(Bravo), Sad Song by Au Revoir Simone, and 2008 Tribeca FF Short Film The New Yorkist. He has covered world events, including the Kashmir earthquake in Pakistan,
post-Katrina New Orleans, the death penalty in Texas, health care in Jamaica, the elections in Newark, and prisons in New York, for multiple news outlets. He has also
produced many short films, including Stereomongrel, with artists Luis Gispert and Jeff Reed, which premiered at the Whitney Museum of American Art, and 7 Short Films on Bicycling
commissioned by PUMA. Vikram has also produced and directed creative and promotional materials for MTV, MTV2, BET, and the web with artists Sean Paul, Jewel, Juvenile,
P. Diddy, Simple Plan, T.I., LCD Soundsystem, POD, Lupe Fiasco, Saigon, and Staind. His first feature length documentary, American Guru will be completed in Summer 2008.
